Get a Permit for Medical Cannabis
Medical cannabis in Israel is given to treat a wide range of illnesses. Every specialized physician is allowed to send a recommendation concerning his/her patient to the Ministry of Health. The physician's specialty must be relevant to the illness he/she recommends to treat with medical cannabis.
The physician must include his/her diagnosis and treatments (medications, protocols, tests, procedures, etc.). The physician must also note the patient's full personal details, including full name, ID number, home address and phone number.

The Ministry of Health has authorized 8 oncologists to issue permits for the use of medical cannabis for oncological patients:
Prof. Moshe Inbar: Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center
Dr. Ido Wolf: Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center
Jonathan Greenfeld: Assaf Harofeh Medical Center
Dr. Roni Weitzen: Sheba Medical Center
Dr. Lia Eshet: Sheba Medical Center
Dr. Gil Bar Sela: Rambam Medical Center
Prof. Jamal Zidan: Ziv Medical Center
Dr. Shahar Ben-Menahem: Western Galilee Hospital
These physicians are licensed to issue permits for oncological patients at their respective hospitals.
